A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More “Touch Me” was originally titled A Little Less Samantha Baker, A Little More Samantha Fox, but the band were told to change it for legal reasons. Samantha Baker is the lead character in “Sixteen Candles”, while Samantha Fox was the artist who released the album “Touch Me”.
According to lyricist Pete Wentz, the title refers to the difference between sweet girls (like Samantha Baker) and sexy girls (like Samantha Fox), and how he’d rather go home with the latter sort than the former.
In the UK the song was released as simply ‘Sixteen Candles’.
In the US, the single had the following tracklistings:

1. “A Little Less Sixteen Candles, a Little More ‘Touch Me’” (2:49)
2. “So Sick” (BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge)
